How to Choose an SMTP Provider
Personal / Low Volume
For personal projects or low volume (<500 emails/day), use your existing email: Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud
Business / Transactional
For transactional emails (receipts, notifications, password resets): Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun
Marketing / Bulk Email
For marketing campaigns and cold outreach, dedicated platforms work best: Postigo, Mailchimp, SendGrid Marketing
Important: Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo are NOT designed for bulk email. Sending marketing emails through these providers can get your account suspended. Use dedicated email services for marketing.
