What are MX Records?

MX (Mail Exchange) records are DNS records that specify the mail servers responsible for receiving email for a domain. When you send an email to someone@example.com, the sending server looks up the MX records for example.com to find where to deliver the message.

priority_high Priority

Lower numbers have higher priority. If the primary server is unavailable, mail is sent to backup servers with higher priority numbers.

dns Mail Server

The hostname of the mail server. This should resolve to an IP address that accepts incoming email connections on port 25.
